Mary Hoagland, current assistant dean of career services and external relations, teaches the professional development lecture series and professional development skills training. Before joining the faculty at the J. Reuben Clark Law School, Dean Hoagland practiced law in Fresno California and clerked for Judge Exckhart A. Thompson and Judge Richard T. Ford of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in the Eastern District of California. Prior to becoming assistant dean of career services and external relations, Dean Hoagland served as director of the law school’s career services office. Dean Hoagland served as president of the Utah County Women Lawyers Association from 1997-98.
